Sacramental Preparation Reconciliation and Eucharist: At Corpus Christi, we believe that the regularity of classes, prayer, and learning must become part of our “soul memory” (like muscle memory). 

To that end, the formation for these two sacraments is a 2 year process. First Grade is participating in Domestic Church and Family Catechesis.

Grade 2 includes additional Sacramental Prep weekly lessons and a retreat prior to the reception of the sacrament. 

• *Excellent attendance is expected for Children in public, other private or homeschools.
• Sacramental Retreats: Immediate formation before a Sacrament is essential to really experience the beauty of it. Prior to both the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion, there will be a 2 hour retreat on Sunday afternoon. This will be for all the parents and children receiving the Sacrament (including Corpus Christi School families.)

For children who, for whatever reason, have missed the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation or Communion, there will be specific formation.  

*Excellent attendance=must attend at least 70% of meetings/events per year
