CYO is committed to providing Christ-centered youth sports opportunities for children within the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas. Our goal is to provide the best possible environment in which your children can grow spiritually, mentally, and physically through an authentically Catholic approach to youth sports.
The administrators and coaches involved in CYO are held to the highest standards. Each coach participates in VIRTUS abuse awareness training and Play Like a Champion Today coaching formation, with other sport-specific certification required as well. CYO policies include health and safety protocols that have been recognized among the best in the country. We take seriously the opportunity to be involved in your child's development and recognize that he or she is a gift created by God.
CYO strives each day to offer programs and initiatives that ensure a fun, healthy and formative experience for children of all ages and ability levels. Together with our families and parish communities, we are committed to providing opportunities for all children to participate in sport and grow in their relationship with Christ.
Registration for CYO 2026-27 Sports
BOYS/GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY: 3RD-8TH GRADE / CROSS COUNTRY PAGE / REGISTER HERE
Late Registration: August 15, 2026 – September 25, 2026 ($50 Price increase)
Program Duration: August 10th 2026 - October 10th, 2026
XC Meet Dates: September 12 (JCCC), September 26 (Savior of the World), October 3 (JCCC), October 10 (Savior of the World - City Meet)
3rd and 4th graders run 1000 meters (.62 miles)
5th and 6th graders run 1600 meters (1 mile)
7th and 8th graders run 2400 meters (1.5 miles)
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: 3RD-8TH GRADE / VOLLEYBALL PAGE / REGISTER HERE
Late Registration: Aug 15, 2026 – Aug 28, 2026 ($50 Price increase)
Program Duration: Aug 10, 2026 - Oct 31, 2026
Season Runs: Sept 11 - Oct 31
Games Played on Saturdays (TH/FRI if needed)
14 match season (12 match guarantee) plus end of season tourney for grades 5th - 8th
